1914 -1918 REMEMBERED IMAGES

St Mary’s Church Whissonsett

8 - 12th November 

10a.m. – 3p.m.

Those now living in Whissonsett have contributed many images of the

First World War to this exhibition.

Letters, Postcards, Drawings, Embroidery, Photographs, Diaries, Trench Art and Newspapers.

All of these hold a precious family memory of some who did not return

and those that did.

Also many who were excused war duty as they were employed on the land and in the factories and hospitals.

There will be a descriptive guide

to all the exhibits,

plus books and maps illustrating the War as it evolved over four years

Donations will be for the Royal British Legion

children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and
their families.
